Abstract

This article explores the strategic role of Religious Education and Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) in improving students’ moral character amid increasingly complex social challenges and technological advancements. Through the integration of spiritual and national values, both subjects serve as instruments of character development by instilling religious attitudes, tolerance, discipline, and responsibility. Religious Education encourages the internalization of faith and ethics, while PPKn fosters awareness of social norms and civic ethics. The findings indicate that synergy among schools, families, and communities plays a crucial role in the success of moral education. When classroom values are reinforced through positive habits in students’ environments, the moral formation process becomes more effective and sustainable. This article recommends a holistic approach to character education, actively and consistently involving the entire educational ecosystem.
