The incidence of Tuberculosis (TB) in the city of Padang remains the highest in West Sumatra, with 3,659 cases. The highest number of cases was found in the working area of Andalas Padang Community Health Center. This disease has become a public health problem closely related to socio-economic conditions, especially among communities with limited access to healthcare services, nutrition, and a healthy environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between socio-economic status and the potential occurrence of TB at Andalas Padang Community Health Center. The type of research used was observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all patients visiting the community health center during the study period, with a sample of 103 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between low socioeconomic status and an increased potential for TB occurrence. In conclusion, socioeconomic status affects the potential for TB occurrence. It is recommended to increase health education, improve the environment, and support socioeconomic programs to reduce the risk of TB in the community
