Publication Ethics
The ethics statement of Basyfar Unity Journal refers to the LIPI Regulation No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications and aligns with the standards set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). The journal upholds three core values in publication ethics:

Publication and Writing Ethics

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise.

The review process follows a blind peer review method.

Review criteria include relevance, originality, scientific merit, readability, and proper use of language.

Editorial decisions may result in: acceptance, acceptance with revision, or rejection.

Revisions do not guarantee acceptance.

Rejected articles will not be reconsidered.

All accepted papers must comply with laws regarding defamation, copyright, and plagiarism.

No research may be submitted or published in more than one journal.
Editor Responsibilities

Editors have full authority to accept or reject articles.

Editors are responsible for the content and quality of the publication.

Editors should consider the needs of authors and readers in improving the publication.

Editors ensure the quality and integrity of academic records.

Editors must issue corrections or retractions when necessary.

Editors should be transparent about sources of research funding.

Decisions must be based on significance, originality, clarity, and journal relevance.

Editors should not overturn previous decisions without valid reasons.

Editors must maintain reviewer confidentiality.

Editors must ensure all published content follows international ethical standards.

Editors must act on suspected misconduct, regardless of publication status.

Author Responsibilities

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.

Reviewers should identify uncited relevant work.

Reviewers must alert editors of any substantial similarities or overlaps with other works.

Reviewers should decline to review if a conflict of interest exists due to personal or institutional connections.
